Malkutakh: An Exploration of the Aramaic Lord’s Prayer with Rev. Johanna Bell -- Monday, March 4th, 6:00 pm in the Community Hall
An ordained Interfaith Minister with a 20+ year background in the study and teaching of non-dual Yogic philosophy, Rev. Johanna is a dear friend of our church -- in fact, her great great grandfather used to keep our fires burning in the frigid Maine winters! It was an incredible blessing to welcome her as a guest preacher back in November.
You may recall that Rev. Johanna preached on the original Aramaic language of Jesus, characterized by somatic resonances and word portals, and the ways it unlocks depth and life-giving meaning in the Lord's Prayer. If you missed the service, or want to revisit, you can check it out here.
This Lent, Rev. Johanna Bell is returning for a more in-depth exploration of this profound prayer and the dimensions that open up through the meaning and context of the original Aramaic language. All are welcome to participate on Monday, March 4 at 6pm in the Community Hall. This gathering will be very experiential and space will be held for personal sharing and Q & A.
