​The Annual Summer Blueberry Festival


AUGUST 4th , 5th, & 6th, 2023

Join us for a quintessential Maine event, a church festival complete with music, arts and crafts, kid's events, and food!
 All on the grounds of a beautiful 19th century New England Church in the seaside village of
South Freeport outside the bustling tourist area of Freeport, Maine.

Friday, August 4th
The festivities begin Friday evening with a traditional
​Downeast Lobster and Grilled Chicken Suppah
​from  5:30-7:00 pm
​with live music by Jay Staples - by reservation.  This event is officially SOLD OUT. 

In case of rain...it will be inside the Community Hall.

We are thankful for Wyman's of Maine who have provided Blueberries for our festival for many years.  You can thank them in person on Friday night at their Blueberry van! 

Then on Saturday August 5th
Free family fun for all ages! 
9 am to 3 pm


On the Stage:  
9:00 am Shaina's Strings Concert
10:00 am Sparks Ark
11:30 am Madeline the Magician

In the Kids' Zone: 
10:30 am Dunk Tank, Henna tattoos, Fairy Hair and more!
12:30 pm  Art Corner and Games

Available for Purchase: 
Baked Goods, Wild Blueberries, Tag Sale ($1 and $5 tables),
Fine Arts and Crafts - including jewelry, paintings, home décor,
elves and fairies, seaside inspired items,
​notecards, journals, hand crafted doll clothes, bow ties for pets, 
felt flower bouquets and more
inside the Community Hall.

For Saturday Lunch:
11:30 am to 1:30 pm
Grilled hamburgers, black bean burgers, and hot dogs
Fresh Squeezed Lemonade 
all available for purchase. 


Sunday August 7th
Blueberry Pancake Breakfast from 8-9:30 AM
Outdoor Worship Service including special music under the tent at 9:30 AM  
Mad Science at 10:45 AM
